IntroductorySquare Dance evenings are designed to allow you to experience square dancing with minimal effort. In as little as an hour you can learn basic square dance calls and begin to enjoy dancing with your friends and others.

While it’s nice to have a partner to dance with, no need to worry if you don’t as there are always plenty of people to goaround so everyone has a chance to dance.You also don’t need to wear anything special to dance. Just have a comfortable pair of shoes, an open mind and be ready to laugh and have fun.

Since experiencing new things is always more enjoyable with friends, we encourage you to bring a friend or a couple of friends along so you all can enjoy the Intro to Square Dance together.


Classes are open to singles and couples of all ages. It offers a casual dress, no experience needed class where students will learn many of the basic calls used in Modern Western Square Dance.

Prior dancers are encouraged to come as well, as it will be a great opportunity for them to refresh these calls.
